Ed McLaughlin is the author of The Purpose Is Profit: The Truth about Starting and Building Your Own Business, a book for entrepreneurs, corporate managers, and transitioning professionals with a burning desire to start their own business. He is also the founder of multiple B2B businesses and an investor in start-ups and real estate. He founded a real estate services company—United Systems Integrators Corporation (USI)—grew it into an Inc 500 Company, and sold it to a Fortune 100 company, Johnson Controls. He was also the CEO of JCI’s Global Workplace Business for the Americas, a partner at Trammell Crow Company, a regional marketing manager at Hewlett-Packard, and a salesman for IBM.
Ed is an alumni of College of Holy Cross.
