Julia is the Vice President for Enterprise and International at Coursera. In this capacity she oversees Coursera's work with corporations and government, as well as their international expansion. She joined Coursera a month after it launched as the company's first business hire and 12th employee. Before Coursera she managed the North America sales and global community management team for Google Apps for Education. In this role she helped to grow Google Apps for Education to over 18m active students, faculty and staff and 70% of the top 100 US universities.
